About Internal Auditor Course
This Two Day Course will provide both a Sound Knowledge and A Practical Competence as regards The Skills and Techniques required for conducting Internal Audits.
The course begins with a Brief History of ISO 9001 followed by interesting review of the key terms used in auditing, the purpose of audits and a review of all the relevant requirements from ISO9001. An in-depth discussion of how personal attributes can affect the audit process will be enlightening to most.
A ‘hands-on’ approach to scheduling and planning audits includes the preparation of checklists through the logical analysis of procedures and other documents. This naturally leads to a soundly structured methodology for the conduct of Internal Audits.
An auditing course is ineffective without practical use of the techniques, so to develop understanding and use of the techniques we have prepared a number of very realistic procedures and case studies which are used quite successfully.
The course concludes with thorough presentation on reporting and follow-up, which is rounded off with a solid review of corrective action systems and techniques followed by a short examination. Successful completion will meet training requirements for conducting audits within your own organization.
The emphasis of the course is on practical auditing in today’s tough business environment.
The course aims to produce internal auditors with an awareness and skills in the practicalities of Management System auditing.
